WWE Raw (August 7th, 2023) in Minneapolis

Less than a week after Summerslam, the action continued but this time in Minneapolis. The Target Center featured Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Judgement Day, Shinsuke Nakamura, New Day. Minnesota’s very own Chad Gable.and more.

Chad Gable defeats Ricochet, Tommaso Ciampa and Matt Riddle

The event started off with a bang. With a future Intercontinental Title shot on the line, four wrestlers take the ring at once to face whomever their choosing in a one fall to the finish.
Local wrestler Chad Gable would end up the winner in a beautiful fashion in front of his hometown fans and more importantly his son. Chad Gable would retrieve son from the crowd and do a complete victory lap around the ring.

The next match appeared to be completely one-sided from the jump with also some humorous moments. Shinsuke Nakamura’s quickness would eventually be what would seal the fate of Bronson Reed.

Shayna Baszler defeats Zoey Stark

After over twelve minutes (which appeared to be a lifetime), Shayna Baszler overcame obvious pain and discomfort to become victorious.

Ludwig Kaiser defeats Otis

There is always a pompous wrestler that thinks they’re all that and a bag o’ chips. Ludwig Kaiser had earlier been slapped across the face by Maxxine Dupri. If that wasn’t enough, he continued to unleash his attempts on Maxxine Dupri while she was ringside with Otis. Unfortunately, Otis would lose to Ludwig.

New Day defeats Viking Raiders

The return of New Day was a pure delight. The ever so flying high and entertaining inside and out of the ring were initially challenged by the Viking Raiders. New Day proved why they deserve a chance at a title match again/

Shinsuke Nakamura/Cody Rhodes/Seth Rollins b. Judgment Day

This tag match featured a series of smacktalk, evil stares and more (some of which were partners in this very match). Judgement Day didn’t have the same levels of relentless energy from their opponents, Rhodes would solidify the win and rejoice with Seth Rollins and Shinsuke… Until Shinsuke turns on Seth Rollins.
