Boys & Girls Clubs Of America’s Terri Fishback On Helping Students Learn Life Skills & More

As students wind down the school year, many may be looking for jobs during the summer months and beyond high school graduation. Aside from earning that extra cash, summer jobs can teach students important skills and knowledge that will help them achieve their future career goals.

To help students learn these and other important long-term-oriented skills, Boys & Girls Clubs Of America has partnered with The Hartford to open College & Career Centers in clubs across the country. In turn, teens can access workforce and continuing education-related resources that inform, motivate and equip them for success as they plan for their future after high school graduation.

Terri Fishback — Senior Director of Workforce Readiness at Boys & Girls Clubs Of America — answered questions from me about the Boys & Girls Club Of America’s past, present and future, as embedded below and recorded in May 2019. More information is online at www.bgca.org.
