DELIVERS TEMPERATURE RISING VISUAL TO
“NIGHTS I CRY”
Acclaimed singer/songwriter Paloma Ford arrives back to new music with the release of her visceral, emotive new single “Nights I Cry.” Adding to the dose of new music, the R&B star complements the co-written [penned with Dazmin] track with an accompanying official music video that exemplifies Paloma’s visionary skillset as creative director. Captured by Edy Perez, the visual sensationally showcases Paloma’s West Coast origins with luminary imagery native to Los Angeles.
“I envisioned the visual for ‘Nights I Cry’ to match the vibe of the song; a song that reflects those nights spent alone with the thoughts of the relationship running through your head” Paloma says.“It’s something you can ride out and smoke to… I had this picture in my head of riding through LA in a drop-top and making it a statement, as well as a vibe. We had to work with a small team and limited resources because of the lockdown, so I’m immensely proud of the final product.”
“Nights I Cry” will feature on X Tapes — Paloma’s first music project since the 2016 applauded release of Nearly Civilized. Earlier this month, Paloma debuted her single “Chrome In My Feelings Version” and gave fans a new music experience with a special live recording performance of the record. “Rain,” released earlier this year, gives another glimpse into Paloma’s forthcoming project release; described as a collection of personal experiences highlighting the concept of love to love lost and all that encompasses in between.

ABOUT PALOMA FORD
Born in Los Angeles, Paloma Ford — singer, songwriter, designer and mother exemplifies the feminine ideal from multiple angles. On the microphone, her sultry and soulful delivery consistently captivates listeners, while her relatable stories of love, passion and heartbreak keep us coming back for more. It should be no surprise Paloma cites her primary influences as Aaliyah, Sade and Janet Jackson, as she also bends R&B to fit and express her individual style.
Off the mic, Paloma describes herself as simply, “A mother and a girl from Los Angeles who has been through a lot of relatable experiences.” “I’m very optimistic, I try to see the good in others. I love being able to help and heal people. I’m a private person, so I don’t show everything on my social media. In my music, you can recognize moments of sensuality and strength. It’s all part of being a woman. That’s the message. It’s important for me to talk about other situations I’ve been in that other women can relate to.”
Paloma’s upcoming project ‘X Tapes’ tells a true story of love, love lost and all the emotional highs in between. ‘RAIN’ opens the story by capturing the familiar experience at the start of a relationship, when passion, romance and energy completely overwhelm your best judgements and insecurities. The tape follows with the experiences after letting your guard down and taking a leap of faith, the moments spent realizing you left yourself vulnerable to somebody that doesn’t love as hard as you.
