Video: Casket D “Crown Me”
Shot by one of the more creative minds on the Indie scene in NYC, Jaison Blackrose of Red Sydney, Casket D and his long time collaborator got together to bring to life a very candid single, Crown Me. Playing King on a life size chess board, Casket D watches as his most valuable assets ( Rook, Knight and Bishops) are devoured. In metaphor, the single teaches you what should be learned through socialization that life is about choices, positioning, and principle. His intense personalized lyrics are greatly supported by the videos vivid look at how life is truly a chess game when all else fails. Casket as a person, whom once you get to know, will show you the embodiment of overcoming obstacle in order to rise. Is the crown on the way ? Only time will tell.
