Who Is ApolloNightLA ‘Artist of the Week’ 7even Foot?

7even Foot is an artist that once you meet them, you wont forget…his name is his reality. I met him in the Kansas City area, during the recent Coast2CoastLive showcase where he was introduced to me via the one and only Epademik, a very busy producer in the industry, i.e. Twiztid, Ross, French and many more. When introduced, he gave me his government name as well but says “They call me 7even Foot” to which my immediate and instinctive response, as I craned my neck to make eye contact was, “No *ish.”

The unique platform, hosted by a powerful cast, only showcases unsigned artists, giving them a chance to engage with a dedicated international audience, which tunes into the show every week.

Celebrity guests on ApolloNightLA have included, Jamie Foxx, Kim Whitley, Luenell and to many others to name.

With his win of ApolloNightLA’s “Artist of the Week” honors, we know 7even Foot understands the meaning of grind, grind, grind as that is how you earn your spot on the show. So, let’s find out just “Who Is 7even Foot!”

From the outside looking in, how do you see the artist 7even Foot?

Seven Foot, spelled 7even Foot and I’m a hungry artist that I feel was left behind, but feel as if my story has to be heard, so I’m still pushing

What made you jump into the music business?

In short the money, but I’ve always enjoyed doing music, singing rapping, the whole deal.

Tell us about your current project.

IMG_20150615_233557-2Well, the name of the new album is “P.O.I.”, short for person of interest, and the single is “I Got” produced by Jayson “Epademik” Leemasters, 1/3rd of the Deadbeatz (Twiztid, Rick Ross, Juvenile, French Montana…@TheDeadBeatzz). It was recorded, mixed and mastered at Midrange Music with Eric Surratt. Epademik shot me a record, and said he always wanted to do something with me and here we are, LOL.

For a first time listener, do you have a particular joint you’d recommend for them to get to know your music?

I would definitely roll with “I Got” right out the door, it has an insane bass line, the hook is really catchy, shout out to Demond Waylon Jones, who by the way, is on the hook with me. It truly describes my drive right now, put it in they face smash mouth, now what attitude, like I said I’m hungry, and my team needs to eat!!

Last but not least, The Hype Magazine wants to know, what has been your craziest “Where they do that at moment?!”

OMG, uh, I guess when you see lil dudes wearing skinny jeans that be tight as leggings, sagged down to their knees, with a belt on, come on now, where they do that at??

Last words?

Special thanks to ApolloNightLA for even allowing my music to be played, and jamming to it, you all are cool as hel*, the show was off the chain!!
