Debut Mixtape: Derrick Milano hosted by DJ Carisma and DJ Bran

Recording artist, producer and emcee, Derrick Milano, makes his official debut with the release of A1,now available on SoundCloud, as he gears up to join the The Rich Forever Tour alongside Rich the Kid and Famous Dex later this fall. The Philadelphia native, whose single “Cellular” went viral at the end of 2015 after being featured on Instagram’s popular Hoodclips page and has also worked with an array of artists including Fetty Wap, August Alsina, Kirko Bangz and more, carves out a new lane with his smooth delivery and edgy lyrics.

“This mixtape shows that I’m in tune with today’s sound, while displaying my versatility and longevity as a recording artist,” said Milano. “I feel it gives music fans a blend of my flavor mixed with today’s sound, that is both familiar and fresh.”

Milano called upon his fellow tour-mates Rich the Kid and Famous Dex, along with DJ Carisma from Young California, DJ Bran, Skippa Da Flippa and BurbanLyfe Quan, to produce rhymes and beats that encapsulate his melodic, trap soundscape. Rapper, producer and emcee, Derrick Milano first emerged onto the music scene in 2014 with his lyrical, Trap anthem, “That Aint Your Bitch.” Since then, the Philadelphia native has attracted attention from new class Urban artists including Fetty Wap, whom he collaborated with on his next single “Nasty Jawn,” along with Rich the Kid, August Alsina, Kirko Bangz, Kodak Black, Sean Kingston and many more.
