Show Host Erin Davis Introduces Us to JLTV’s ‘Bubbies Know Best’

“Bubbies Know Best” is the hilarious new dating show premiering February 11 at 8:00 PM ET/PT on JLTV, where three Jewish grandmas play matchmaker for eligible bachelors and bachelorettes. In every episode, our Bubbies grill three potential mates before picking one good enough for their precious “Bubbeleh.”

Back Story – Erin Davis the host of the show, began her private wingwoman and consultation services in 2014 when demand became too great for Shabbatness, her not-for-profit Shabbat dinner and events matchmaking service for quality single Jewish young professionals. She finds nothing more rewarding than introducing amazing people, and she is proud to have instigated not just numerous relationships, including two marriages in 2016, but also many friendships and business partnerships.

Outside of work, Erin can likely be found sweating it out in a TRX class, studying for her M.A. in International Affairs, or doing stand-up comedy at Stand-Up NY, Broadway Comedy Club, and Gotham Comedy Club, where she recently opened for Jerry Seinfeld. She is a graduate of Georgetown University and the recipient of multiple fellowships, including the 2014 PresenTense Fellowship, the ACCESS Mission to Austria, the Polish-Jewish Leadership Exchange, Germany Close-Up, and the Muslim-Jewish Conference Fellowship in Berlin. She currently serves as Co-Chair of the AJC ACCESS NY Board.

Erin hails from Johns Creek, Georgia, and currently lives in the Theater District with her rescue dog and cat. She is 32-years-old, and no, she is not married, about which her little Polish 92-year-old Nana Roza reminds her regularly.

Soooooooo, can you imagine working with your grandmother as she plays cupid! Imagine that times three!!! We caught up with show host Erin Davis to discuss the amazing new show, working with three high-energy and outspoken Bubbies (bub-eaz) as they share their wisdom, and put potential suitors for their grandchildren through their paces. Will it be the interrogation style or something a bit less?! One thing for sure according to Erin, the three Bubbies each bring something special to the show and their collective experience and wisdom, co-mingled with her Wingwoman expertise will make for something binge-watch worthy!

Tune in to our convo with the professional sidekick Erin Davis and get ready for the ride!

Meet the Bubbies!

S.J. Mendelson is a Bubbie to three precious princes. She is well known as a fan favorite on Season 12 of America’s Got Talent and has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and Late Night with Conan O’Brien.

Bunny Gibson is now a great-Bubbie and was one of the original dancers on American Bandstand. She also has over 65 TV and film credits to her name.

Linda Rich is a Bubbie to seven grand-bubbelehs and was the first female Cantor in history to serve a Conservative congregation.
