Loote’s Jackson Foote & Emma Lov On Their New “Heart Eyes” EP, Writing For Other Artists & More

Last month, hit-writing singer/songwriters and production pop duo Loote — comprised of Jackson Foote and Emma Lov — released a lyric video directed by Ryan Schaefer for the new single “This Is How U Feel.” That marked the second official single release off of the group’s forthcoming Heart Eyes EP, as due out on April 24th. And not only was that Loote’s second proper single release from Heart Eyes, but also Loote’s second single to hit one million streams within one week of release.

The recent success of the songs from the Heart Eyes EP is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the mainstream success achieved by Loote in recent years. Foote and Lov’s list of notable collaborators includes Cheat Codes, Demi Lovato, Joe Jonas, Shawn Mendes, David Guetta, and Zara Larsson. In told, songs crafted by the two have generated over 750 millions streams (and counting).

I had the pleasure of speaking with both Jackson Foote and Emma Lov by phone on March 30, 2020 about Heart Eyes, future plans and more, right after beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic. Russell from Loote’s management team made a cameo within the call, which you can stream below. More on Loote, Foote and Lov can be found online via clicking over to https://linktr.ee/lootemusic.
