The Best Hip Hop Gambling Bars

Even the most avid gamblers need a break from the tables to unwind and get back their concentration. There is nothing better than slipping into a bar, easing into a soft chair, sipping your favorite drink and listening to music that touches your soul. Choices abound and in every major gambling hotspot, you will find exactly the type of gambling bar that suits your tastes.

Here’s a fun fact about a hip-hop singer who connected this music genre and gambling in the coolest way.

Kendrick Lamar

“What’s The Haps On The Craps?”, “Against All Odds And I Will Not Stop” and “They Say Life Is A Gamble” are popular lines from hip hop songs. However, ask the fans and they will root for Kendrick Lamar who is regarded by many as the greatest rapper and lyricist of his time. He has won 160 awards from 399 nominations, including 13 Grammy Awards and six Billboard Music Awards.

Vegas is a popular number from Lamar’s latest album Unreleased Songs. It has made waves with the line – “If gambling’s a sin, then I’m rollin’ dice with Lucifer …”. The song has catchy references to blackjack, poker and craps that gamblers will empathize with. Put on your headphones and groove to the lyrics while you take on the blackjack dealer at online casinos available at Headline Casinos and see the cards fall your way.

Now let’s take a look at the best hip hop gambling bars, where to find them and what you can expect there.

Drai’s Nightclub

Drai’s Nightclub is on The Vegas Strip in Caesar’s The Cromwell – a stone’s throw from other big properties like The Venetian, Bellagio and Planet Hollywood. This dazzling multi-level rooftop hot spot boasts more than 25,000 square feet of plush offering and a stunning view of the neon-lit Strip. Some of the hottest names in hip hop like Nelly, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz and DJ Franzen, perform there often during weekends. You can check with the bar who is on at a particular day and time. There is a dance floor where you can groove to the beat, but if you are taking a break from gambling you may want to take a seat and relax and watch some of their videos. The Drai has 75 tables with bottle service, but be sure to book in advance if you want the VIP treatment.

The same venue hosts Drai’s After Hours, which is where the late birds zero in. The establishment opens at 1 am and runs till 8 am. It is perfect if you want a quick bite or drink after you are through with gambling but before you hit the bed.

The LIGHT

Staying on The Strip, we recommend The LIGHT located in the Mandalay Bay Resort and MGA casino especially if you are crazy about this genre. Seeing a hip hop show at The LIGHT is beyond a normal nightclub experience because the bar offers state-of-the-art entertainment technology with huge LED screens so you can see the performances from anywhere. The gambling bar proudly claims that there is no bad table at The LIGHT. The expansive bar gets your drinks quicker and you can get back to your gambling tables without wasting time.

If you are playing at another casino, you do not have to negotiate long corridors inside the Mandalay, because The LIGHT is located just next to the valet entrance.

Daer Nightclub

If Atlantic City is where you punt then make sure to visit Daer Nightclub for an immersive hip hop experience. It is located in the 17 acres premises of Hard Rock Hotel and Casino along Boardwalk. The casino itself boasts over 100 tables covering blackjack, roulette and more along with over 2,000 slot machines. All your gambling needs will be covered here. Hip hop music is popular with partygoers and you will experience world-class DJs like Tiësto making you dance to the beat. Celebrity rappers like Ludacris also perform there. Top 40 and EDM genres of music are interspersed with hip hop.

Make a reservation in the VIP private area for zero waiting and a more relaxed time. Avail of personalized service while you enjoy the music and performances.

Kiss Kiss

Kiss Kiss nightclub is linked to the Tropicana Casino and Resort in Atlantic City, so you are sure that the gambling will be good. It is located on Boardwalk, and even you are playing at another casino the gambling bar is within easy reach. Kiss Kiss is perhaps smaller than other hot spots of its kind, but the experience is larger than life. The Alice in Wonderland theme is unique and the Go-Go dancers add a touch of the risqué. If you want to just dance to the hip hop music on the floor then the price tag will be reasonable. You will have to pay a bit more for VIP access that includes a table seat.

Club49

If you are in London then you cannot afford to give Club49 a miss. Club49 is not a part of any casino, so in that sense, it is not a gambling bar. However, located in Soho, it is a short distance from the city’s best casinos – The Hippodrome, Genting and Grosvenor. The DJs will play recorded hip hop on demand, but the only live music is the occasional jazz. The plush and comfortable seating will make any gambling tiredness vanish. The bartender is great and you must try from the vast cocktail menu.

If you are at a nearby casino with friends then unwind together at Club49 and after a relaxed dinner return to the casino tables.

Check Before You Visit

In these times of pandemic, the gambling bars may have some restrictions imposed. We suggest that you give them a call before visiting.
