0Author Stephan Talty On His “Good Assassins: Hunting The Butcher” Podcast, Having Books Adapted Into Films & More
As a journalist, Stephan Talty has written for the New York Times Magazine, GQ, Playboy, The Chicago Review and plenty of other prestiguous publications. As a best-selling author, Talty has penned 6 acclaimed non-fiction books, 2 of which have been made into films, and 2 psychological thrillers. Those film adapations, you ask? The Oscar-winning Captain Phillips starring Tom Hanks and Only The Brave starring Josh Brolin and Jeff Bridges. Meanwhile, Leonardo DiCaprio is set to star in and produce the film adaptation of Talty’s book The Black Hand for the Paramount Pictures studio.
Stephan Talty’s latest acclaimed project is Good Assassins: Hunting The Butcher, the podcast version of Talty’s book The Good Assassin. The podcast tells the untold story of the secret mission to hunt down a savage, escaped Nazi murderer. Led by a brilliant Mossad agent who lost his parents in the Holocaust, the hunt for the infamous Butcher of Latvia was a secretive espionage operation that forever altered the fates of all ex-Nazis. The podcast made its debut last month — hitting all key podcast platforms — and quickly reached the top 10 on the Apple Podcast charts.
