Onnit CEO Jason Havey On The Growth Of Onnit, Nutrition, CBD, Joe Rogan, Future Plans & More

Whether you are like one of the elite performers found on Onnit’s Pro Team, or just an everyday sort of person looking to make the most of life, Onnit pledges to “help you be the most fully-developed person you can be—in your body and in your life.” Per its website, Onnit can be summarized in 3 words: total human optimization — or THO, for short. Its founder Aubrey Marcus has been quoted as saying THO “is a commitment to get strong in the places where we are weak, become great in places where we’re good, and shine a light on the stuff we need to take a look at.”

I first learned about Onnit via the frequent discussion of its nutritional supplements on podcasts. Onnit CEO Jason Havey is not too far off from that, first being a customer of the brand before going to work for the company in 2014; prior to landing at Onnit, Havey managed some top-notch hotels. Havey was appointed CEO of Onnit in March 2020, just days before the COVID-19 pandemic hit the States in a big way. In spite of that chaos, he helped lead Onnit through tough times with company sales never slipping and the brand’s reputation never slipping over the past year and change.

On May 10, 2021, I had the pleasure of speaking with Onnit CEO Jason Havey via Zoom, as embedded below. More on Havey and Onnit can be found here, here, here and here.
