A Look At The New Disney+ BTS Doc “Adventure Thru The Walt Disney Archives” With Becky Cline
The new behind-the-scenes documentary Adventure Thru The Walt Disney Archives is set to premiere via Disney+ on November 19, 2021. The long-awaited doc explores beloved parts of Disney — including its theme parks and Studio lot — through an engaging, historical lens, as legendary producer Don Hahn (Beauty & The Beast, The Lion King, Maleficent) speaks with Walt Disney Archives director Becky Cline and other members of the Archives team. Each stop on the adventure offers a look at some of the iconic treasures that have played a role in shaping The Walt Disney Company.
The film, as directed by John Gleim, features new interviews with the likes of Disney Executive Chairman Bob Iger, Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige, Pixar’s Pete Docter, film historian Leonard Maltin, among many other notables. On November 3, 2021, I had the pleasure of participating in a film-centric media round-table with Don Hahn, John Gleim, and Becky Cline. Cline answered some questions for me via that Zoom-based session, which are embedded below for your listening pleasure.
