Live Session with a dynamite media maven, Jen DeLeon who is one of those powerhouses people dream of becoming but most lack the daring and intestinal fortitude to make it happen. Dropping into Los Angeles about a decade ago at the age of 21, she rapidly became a go-to and trusted media personality that saw her doing one-on-one coverage with Snoop, Chris Brown, G Eazy, Post Malone, Jeezy, and more. She’s had hosting duties for HotNewHipHop, Complex, BET, Cheddar, and SkeeTV as well as producing content for Whistle Sports & Uninterrupted. We can’t stop there as this dynamo has ALSO had talent booking stints where tapped Lil Wayne for Float Festival as well as Ludacris and 2 Chainz for the NBA Finals. It’s one of my greatest joys to have conversations with other journalists who are making their mark in the industry while at the same time holding up journalistic integrity. It’s not easy in this day to keep away from the messy world of entertainment and be someone who allows your subject to really have their own voice during the interview. Getting your subject to relax and be themselves is an art form that Jen has mastered and the product of her work is stellar, delivering some of the most interesting and at times lively segments, as in the case of her Chris Brown spot LOL, that we’ll witness in this new age of journalism. Jen is one of the very special professionals in our industry and it was amazing to get some time with her!

I really want to get all serious with this editorial part but that would just ruin it. Suffice it to say that even at my stage of life, I’ve found someone to be inspired and motivated by and I needed to share this gem with you so…Tune In!
