Surfing Champion Koa Smith On Working With Essential Elements, Hawaii, Career Plans & More

Essential Elements specializes in manufacturing premium and affordable dietary and wellness supplements. Science-based from clinically-studied, premium, raw ingredients, Essential Elements delivers high-potency products that are natural, safe and effective. Targeted testing and well-controlled manufacturing processes allow them to consistently produce quality-oriented products.

This month, Essential Elements announced a partnership with pro-surfer Koa Smith to help athletes and health-conscious consumers “Get Hy.” Staying hydrated is reportedly Smith’s top priority while he is catching waves, Essential Elements’ hydration sticks help him replenish his electrolytes, providing a boost to his immune system and give him the energy to glide into some of the biggest breaks in the world. Per Smith in a prepared statement made prior to this announcement going public: “While traveling all around the world I need some consistency when it comes to staying healthy and hydrated. Essential Elements provides me with just that and I am thrilled to help represent a brand that truly adds to my personal and professional life. It gets me ‘hy’ and keeps me ‘hy’ all day long.”

Last month, I had the pleasure of speaking with Koa Smith via Zoom, as embedded below. Beyond his work with Essential Elements, we talked about Hawaii, television, music and future career plans. More on Smith and Essential Elements can be found online by clicking here, here, here and here.
