Live Session with Joshua Davis, Head of Experience at Shrapnel which is the world’s first blockchain-enabled moddable AAA first-person shooter game. Shrapnel will be debuting in Atlanta from Thursday, September 1st to Monday, September 5th for Dragon Con.

For over two decades, Joshua has been bringing digital and analog experiences to life. With 20 AAA game credits to his name, he has held roles as a UX leader for Electronic Arts, Irrational Games, 343 Industries, Microsoft, High Fidelity, and Amazon, stewarding franchises such as Madden NFL, Tiger Woods PGA Golf, EA Sports MMA, Superman, Bioshock, Halo, Harry Potter, and more. Joshua also holds a design patent for Microsoft and a THEA Award for contributions to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

About Shrapnel

Spun-out from HBO Interactive, where they bonded creatively through technical experimentation, releasing projects like Westworld VR and an AR prototype with Game of Thrones gameplay, the Shrapnel team has unmatched experience in transmedia, virtual production, and game world creation. They are comprised of BAFTA and Emmy award-winning game industry veterans, producers, artists, and storytellers hailing from some of the world’s leading game companies including Xbox, Electronic Arts, and LucasFilm.
