Dickies Collabs with Pro Skater Jake Hayes

Dickies, one of the world’s leading workwear brands, just released their latest signature pro skate collection designed in collaboration with Dickies Skate Team member and professional skateboarder, Jake Hayes. An Australian expat living in Los Angeles, Jake has made his mark as a renowned skateboarder earning titles like Australian Skater of the Year and World Record Holder for Highest Ollie. His personal style and pro skate capsule are heavily influenced by 1990s streetwear, Hip Hop, and New York culture.

Combining his global roots with his passion for skateboarding and personal love for the brand, Jake is stoked to reveal his personal take on some of his longtime favorite Dickies’ products.

A Universal Dickies Community

After landing in a new country, Jake quickly found his place within the skate community. His collection is a tribute to those that welcomed and embraced him with open arms, and he intentionally wanted his signature line to be inclusive for everyone and serve as a reminder that skateboarding is universal, which influenced the use of globes on tags and the international map graphics to represent other countries.

Whether it’s young kids skating for the first time in their hometown to professionals competing on a global stage, there is something for everyone to look and feel their best on and off their skateboard. Jake noted, “It was important to me that anyone who wears it feels comfortable and looks the way they want to look. Every piece of this collection, whether you wear it all together or separately, can go with anything and is available for everyone.”

This collection embraces the beloved 1990s streetwear aesthetics through its loose and relaxed fits, vintage washes, and retro-inspired graphics to create an authentic, lived-in style. Jake reimagined one of his favorite pairs of Dickies dungarees in a stonewashed black Duck Pant, which has quickly become part of his go-to uniform. To complete the look, he’ll style with the salsa red Graphic Hoodie or heather gray Graphic Crewneck before heading out to skate. Jake Hayes fans can also skip the lines to get his autograph as his signature is embroidered on many of the pieces.
