Keith “KD” Fergus spoke exclusively with SBR Talk Series powered by The Hype Magazine about the many hats he wears in the music industry, his clients, and the history of high-profile events he has curated. Host Money Matt spoke with KD, who is an award-winning manager/A&R/Event Curator, about his work with artists from B.o.B and his label No Genres to up-and-coming rising star T-Rell, managing DJ Holiday, how Beer & Tacos became such a legendary event in Atlanta and as SXSW and how KD finds the balance between fatherhood, giving back and being in the industry. KD talks in length about not only Beer & Tacos (Migos, Young Dolph, 2 Chainz, and many more) but also his curation of Exposure Open Mic with BRich, which had artists such as Jack Harlow at the open mic before he was a star. KD also spoke with Money Matt about Hollipalooza, from its origins to what fans can look forward to and KD’s most recent chill kickback Schmoke N Vibe events. In the interview, KD also opens up about having long-standing relationships and their importance even before he got into the music industry.
