Jordyn Weekly: Dont eat the homies Vegan Streetwear

Jordyn Weekly, the creator of Dont eat the homies (D.E.T.H.), is making waves in the fashion industry with her vegan streetwear brand. What started as a personal lifestyle statement has grown into a movement, and Jordyn’s brand is now launching its first brick-and-mortar location in the Los Angeles area this March.

Dont eat the homies’ signature branding features a cow, chicken, fish, pig, and horse graphic which is quickly becoming an icon in certain circles, with brand recognition compared to some of the most commercially popular streetwear brands. But what sets Jordyn’s brand apart is its mission-based approach. Dont eat the homies donates 10 percent of all sales proceeds each year to animal sanctuaries, reflecting Jordyn’s commitment to supporting the survival of living creatures exploited for food and luxuries.

The Conversation with Jordyn Weekly

In this Live Session, Jordyn spoke with me about her journey from a print-on-demand hoodie to a full-fledged fashion brand. She described a defining moment that inspired her to change her lifestyle and start promoting veganism through her clothing line. But unlike some advocates who may come across as confrontational, Jordyn takes a different approach. She shares her experience coupled with speaking from the heart, inspiring others to make their own choices, and promoting a more peaceful planet in her own way.

Jordyn also expands on some of her thoughts from the first piece we posted on her and Dont eat the homies in May of 2021. I had a great time with Jordyn and her peaceful spirit glows on the screen…she also let me get off a few jokes…so how could it NOT be a great conversation. Alongside a totally Zen persona, Jordyn’s power of conviction shines through as she describes her WHY in this session…excited for you to meet her so Tune In!!!

Vegan Lifestyle Growth

Jordyn’s journey also reflects a growing trend toward veganism and plant-based lifestyles. According to recent statistics, the number of vegans in the United States has increased by 600% in the past three years, and the number of Americans who identify as vegetarian has doubled in the past decade. With brands like Dont eat the homies leading the way, it’s clear that a more compassionate approach to fashion and lifestyle choices is gaining ground.

As Dont eat the homies prepares for its grand opening, we can’t wait to see what the future holds for Jordyn and her brand. Above all, with her commitment to animal welfare and her passion for inspiring others, Jordyn is a true trailblazer in the fashion industry and beyond.
