Chrissy’s New Album “Taken” Does it Live Up to the HYPE?

R&B artist, Chrissy, is new to the scene but not new to the game. She grew up in the music industry literally because her father is Chris Stokes; legendary producer, songwriter, and manager. In an attempt to set her self from the rest of the pack, she doesn’t rely on family relationships to promote her music.

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Chrissy has found a new melody and inspiration to inspire the world with her amazing voice. She dropped a single RELAX on all platforms that reached #51 on the charts within the 1st month in August.

People say that her style is being compared to H.E.R and Snoh Aalegra, but there’s something more something soulful. This album, TAKEN, seems to have a bit of everything for listeners; it features duets from Marques Houston, J-Boog, and some 90’s nostalgia vibes.

In addition to the music, Chrissy, she landed a lead role in the tv series “Howard High”, and runs her own beauty channel -IamChrissy97- and also co-hosts a channel with Mia Houston (Marques Houston) called Chrissy & Gio.
