Live Session: Jonas Gray of the Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots

Jonas Gray running back for the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots, exploded onto the national stage with his record setting performance as a running back against the Indianapolis Colts this past season. For his part in NFL history that week, Gray earned AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors after rushing 37 times for 201 yards and a franchise-record four rushing touchdowns. He also graced the cover of Sports Illustrated!

While his football story is a novel of ups and downs, his story as a human being, man of integrity and faith is one that is the most worth telling in my humble opinion. His success as an elite athlete, speaks to intestinal fortitude, strength of character and a level of commitment to excellence that is a beacon of light in our tumultuous and dark world…we just have to look beyond the uniform.

The Hype Magazine got to spend some time with Jonas and learn more about him, his philosophy about life and his place in this world. We also got to hear a man whose heart feels for those that suffer extreme hardships and let us into his experience at the Shriner’s Hospital where he visits and motivates suffering children.
