15 Recent Discoveries That Have Made Working From Home Easier For Me Over The Last 8 Months

With everything happening in the world, there is still a lot of uncertainty going around. But everyone needs to take care of their home and overall living situation, even if you are not working from home. Here are 15 recent discoveries of mine — all of which immediately available for ordering through Amazon and/or other websites, which have made my work-from-home existence easier in some form.

Fluidstance Boards & Walls

We everyday humans were not meant to sit all day. In fact, our bodies were designed to move, and chances are that your workspace, classroom and/or home environment do not let you do that. FluidStance to the rescue, as its purpose is to set the world in motion, starting with our category-creating decks. This award-winning company makes balance boards like The Level, The Slope (a personal desktop whiteboard) and the Fillup (a personal water tower), aiming to create one’s ultimate work station. In turn, Fluidstance ought to help you to inject some health and wellness into your workspace.

The latest innovative I had tried from FluidStance is The Wall. Perfect for notes, timelines, brainstorming and sketches alike, both sides of The Wall have a premium dry erase finish for twice the whiteboard space. This larger, desktop whiteboard surface helps you keep better track of work or school activities so you’re more organized and can be more productive. In a shared environment, The Wall is large enough to act as a privacy screen when you are working hard and need to focus and can be a visual barrier at your desk, whether at home or in a formal office space. It is portable, easily moved from tabletop to tabletop as needed, and is perfect for storing your pen and other desk accessories.

The LumiCharge LD

Earlier this year, I wrote about LumiCharge’s LED Lamp which has a universal phone charger and extra USB port. Extending its versatility with illuminating delight, this innovative LED desk lamp aids nighttime reading, studying and general work with three different hues and multiple levels of brightness from energy-efficient low-heat LED bulbs. Meanwhile, its patented universal cell phone dock works for iPhone or Android users. Additional features include a calendar display that shows time, date, day of the week and temperature and motion sensor that lights up the buttons so you can turn the light on in the pitch dark.

Newer to the market, the LumiCharge LD is an all-in-one lamp that is affordably-priced, eye-friendly and has a Bluetooth Speaker and a phone charger (2 smartphones at a time). Its compact size takes up little room on any desk at home, office, dorm or kitchen counter. The LumiCharge II LED Lamp’s 2.0 version offers 3 different hues and different levels of brightness and directional lighting, in addition to a built-in-motion sensor that turn on when you enter a dark room and an anti-bacterial surface-important in today’s environment. Thus, smart multi-functional devices which look great and are easy to use.

Among the workshops that I had the pleasure of attending were Bottle Brush Bling with Michelle Rutta-Wahe of Your Heart’s Content, Candle Making & ‘Cozy Night In’ Holiday Gifts with Sejal Parag of KarmaLit, and Hand Felted Flowers with Yihyun Lim of Delica. Simply put, Amazon Handmade has something for everyone when it comes to making your home working situation more comfortable and/or productive.
