Live Session With St. Louis Recording Artist, Songwriter and Radio Host Kizz Q

Multi-talented host of the highly touted “The Mixx” radio show on St. Louis radio station Streetz 105.1 Kizz Q is also a rising artist in his own right. An accomplished rapper, singer, and songwriter, Kizz Q has put people on notice with his new single Stevie Wonder that the next generation of artists and creatives from his city has something to say! The song is a hit and has further put Q on the map as an all-around personality to be taken seriously.

Not one to hold onto the spotlight just for himself, through his show “The Mixx” he and his cohort DJ Flightt unselfishly share the opportunity for fellow artists to gain some shine as well as BDS spins for their music…yup the kind that count. One of the things Q prides himself on is recognizing talent, not only withing himself but others and feels that St. Louis is a hotbed of talent that does not get its just due. That’s a laudable stance and the fact that he puts action behind it is a big deal in this day and age.

I got to spend some time with Kizz Q to discuss his journey into music and radio, his defining moments that inspired him to take music seriously as a craft and he also let us know he’s up on his history as well!
