Sidney Swift On The CHILLRX NFT Project, Writing For Top Artists, Attending NFT NYC & More

Sidney Swift is a GRAMMY-winning producer whose credits include Nicki Minaj, Panic! At The Disco, Lil Wayne, Beyoncé, Big Sean, Future, Jason Derulo, Gucci Mane, Major Lazer and DJ Khaled. Swift is also the co-founder of intellectual property and creative development studio Defi Entertainment. DEFIENT — the nickname for Defi Entertainment — develops virtual influencers, NFTs, songwriters, producers, campaigns and shows. If that were not enough credit-wise, Swift is also the founder and CEO of Auggy Inc., a web3 technology startup specializing in metaverse accessibility for brands, artists and influencers alike through next-generation media resources and enhanced content experiences.

Last month, Sidney Swift was in New York for NFT NYC 2022. While in town, Swift was promoting the ChillRX NFT Project, a virtual music and digital artist collective powered by 9999 placebo pills on the blockchain. Fans who hold 1 of the 9999 CHILLRX NFTs get to participate in all aspects of the creative process and earn passive income from songwriting royalties and metaverse concert performances of virtual artist CHILLPILL and others. To learn more about CHILLRX and other facets of his career, I had the pleasure of speaking with Swift via Zoom on June 29, 2022, as embedded below in video form.

More on Sidney Swift and his various projects can be found online by clicking here, here and here.
