0Interview with Undefeated AEW TBS Champion JADE CARGILL
You’d think a woman with a current undefeated streak, one who is already evoking comparisons to the legendary wrestler Goldberg, would have been honing her wrestling skills long before she could vote. But not Jade Cargill, who remains undefeated. She has achieved wrestling stardom on her own terms, just as she approaches everything in life. Surprisingly, Jade embarked on her wrestling career at the age of 28, after giving birth to her daughter Bailey three years earlier. Despite having no prior involvement in wrestling and being primarily known as a fitness enthusiast and certified trainer, Jade’s athletic success in the past was defined by her time as a D1 basketball player.
The fact that she was already a nutritionist and certified child psychologist before storming onto the AEW scene only adds to the rich fabric of her story. Simply stated, Jade was driven, and continues to be driven, to succeed as a wrestler and to inspire moms everywhere. Jade’s message is clear – women have the power to achieve their dreams and still be the moms they’ve always wished to be. As expected, Jade orchestrated her arrival on the wrestling scene in a big way.
She debuted by tag teaming with none other than NBA superstar Shaquille O’Neal. Less than 24 months later, Jade hasn’t lost, consistently headlines Friday Night Rampage on TBS, and is an AEW TBS Champion. The bottom line, Jade has already become one of the biggest stars in all of professional wrestling. So, with all that success coming so quickly, what lies ahead for Bailey’s mom? Clearly, anything she sets her mind on.
Jade has been featured on TNT, TBS, Bleacher Report, ESPN, The Players Tribune, Muscle & Fitness, Complex, Wrestling Inc, TMZ, Forbes, Celebwell, Fightful, WhatCulture, Ringside News, Scape, Vibe, ScreenRant, Sporting News, TV Insider, Sherri, NY Daily News, The Breakfast Club, XXL, and many, many more.
