So, my Live Session chat with Cheryl Cooley, the legendary guitarist from the iconic all-female group Klymaxx, was like stepping into a time capsule of music memories and insightful exchanges. I’d met Cheryl about two decades ago when she and Klymaxx were performing at the Hollywood Park Racetrack in Inglewood, CA…what a night! I sat front row to see this icon do her thing and lead the ladies through their paces so to speak. No lie…I had to fight REALLY HARD not to try and hit that Poppin Taco sequence as the group played the forever song “Meeting in the Ladies Room,” one of the hit singles from their album of the same name. The visuals have nearly 6.5 million views.
