Exclusive: Producer 20 Talks Going from Free to Fee in the Music Production Business

Producer 20 may not be a name you’ve heard much, just yet, but you’ve most likely heard his work, from Fantasia, Project Pat, and emerging star DaBaby, this musical genius is on the rise for real. Recently the #IGot20OnMyBeat brand hit big with DaBaby’s “Walker Texas Ranger” charting on Billboard. That joint joined another 20 produced song fronted by R&B sensation Jxhines, “Fire Flies,” making the Funk Flex Hot 97 playlist for 2019.

Producer 20 is a North Carolina music producer with an eye for talent and knack for creating the right beat for some of today’s top tier up-incoming music artists. One of 20’s most noted production tracks is the hit single “Walker Texas Ranger” by Billboard chart-topping artist DaBaby.

Stunna 4 Vegas is definitely an artist who’s rise to success puts him in the category as top tier up-incoming artist. Stunna’s album Big 4x was released May 10th, 2019 and has since reached #4 on Apple Music’s Hip-Hop New Releases Category. 20 produced 4 tracks off of the Big 4x project; Intro, 100 or Betta feat NLE Choppa, Double D and Punch Me In 4. Producer 20 alongside creatives like Stunna are creating a sustainable wave in the Carolinas that can’t be stopped.

What’s an artist without versatility? The best producers in the industry can dive into many genres. For instance, Producer 20 collaborated with RnB sensation Jxhines and producer JStacks Beats to create a melodic bounce single titled, Fireflies. Fireflies is currently in rotation on Hot 97 and local Charlotte radio stations. There is plenty more in store for Producer 20, including more collaborative music projects, brand partnerships and a few other things I can’t mention at the moment.
