0Bellator’s Sergio Pettis & Scott Coker On Life After “Bellator 258”
Bellator is a leading global MMA and kickboxing promotion featuring many of the best athletes in the world. Under the direction of veteran fight promoter Scott Coker, Bellator events take place in major cities around the world and can be seen on television in over 160 countries to an available audience of over 1 billion people. In the States, Bellator events from all over the world can be seen on Showtime — a new TV deal announced earlier this year — and online via Pluto TV and Bellator’s YouTube channel.
The latest major event for Bellator was Bellator 258, which took place at Mohegan Sun Arena on May 8, 2021. The card was headlined by a championship bout between Bantamweight Champion Juan Archuleta and challenger Sergio Pettis, as also featuring action-matches with Bellator favorites Anthony “Rumble” Johnson, Patricky Pitbull and Michael Venom Page.
Following that excellent event, I had the pleasure of asking questions to Bellator CEO Scott Coker and new Bantamweight Champion Sergio Pettis via Zoom, as embedded below. Bellator 259 will be taking place at Mohegan Sun on May 21, 2021, as headlined by the long-anticipated “Cyborg vs. Smith 2,” featuring Cris Cyborg and Leslie Smith who had originally met at UFC 198.
