Charm La’Donna may be a relatively new personality as regards taking center stage as an artist, but she made her bones as one of the hottest choreographers and creative directors in the business so she is no rookie and has proven her ability to dazzle and entertain. Charm is the creative director for Dua Lipa and Rosalia. She was the creative force behind Kendrick Lamar’s incredible GRAMMY performance and J. Balvin and Rosalia’s “Con Altura” video. She is also credited with choreographing Dua Lipa’s MTV EMA performance, 6lack’s inventive Coachella set, and Rosalía’s all-Spanish tour and the list goes on and on.
WE got to meet Charm based on her incredible single Palm Trees which gave us an amazing look at Cali and showcased the lyrical prowess of this young lioness who is bent on taking the world by storm.
The official line is that Charm is not your average female emcee, she combines her love for lyrics with highly stylized visuals. Her new EP “La’Donna” is the culmination of Charm’s passion, dedication to her craft, and unique ability to express herself that sets her aside from other female rappers right now. It is about more than just her body, men, and money and with relatable lyrics and just the right amount of edge. And unlike other artists, she is sooooo much more than your average rapper.
